Hi, I am Clare Monnin, owner and steward of The Dungeness Barn House Bed and Breakfast. I like to say that this property found me: I first fell in love with this place 30 years ago before it was on the market. The beauty of the land immediately drew me in, but it wasn't a B&B yet...it wasn't even for sale.

I was crazy about the Barn House from the start, but I was scared I was too young to retire and leave a good job with benefits. Berta (the previous owner) and I reconnected years later when she was ready to sell: she also felt that this place was meant to be mine - even though she had an offer from a couple in Seattle, she held off until I was ready to sell my place and finally make Dungeness Barn House my home.

Since I moved into the space in 2015, I have poured so much of myself and my energy into the gardens, home, and land. I worked with my son to create the gourmet kitchen of my dreams, restored the landscape, made structural improvements, and upgraded all the suites to reflect my clean, coastal farmhouse vision. I wake up with gratitude every day.

Intention
The intention for the Dungeness Barn House at Two Crows Farm is to provide a unique and memorable retreat for guests, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the rustic charm of the farm. The Barn House aims to offer a peaceful and rejuvenating experience, allowing guests to reconnect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Mission Statement
May this business always be a sanctuary of peace and serenity.
May all who visit here be lifted in spirit, and calmed and nourished in mind and body.

So may it be that I contribute to this healing with my efforts and my resources.
As steward of the property, I will continue to be committed to this special place and move the business forward with purpose.
