General Policies

Guest Policies

  • The Dungeness Barn House B&B is a non-smoking facility.

  • Sleeping accommodations are for registered guests only.

  • We ask that all guests keep noise to minimum in consideration of other guests.

  • Firearms are not permitted on the grounds or in the home at any time.

Cancellation Policy

  • If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date.

  • If you cancel 14 days or more prior to arrival date, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

  • If you cancel your reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival date between June-September, you will be charged 50% of the total: your credit card on file will be charged this amount. We may be able to refund the charge if the room(s) rebook, but this is not guaranteed.

Check-In & Check-Out Policy:

  • Check in is from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the day of arrival. Requests for other check in times must be made and approved prior to day of arrival so that arrangements can be made in advance.

  • Check out is 11:00 am.

  • Please contact us if you are planning on checking in after 6:00pm. If we have not heard from you by 8:00pm on your arrival date, we reserve the right to rent out your room.

Deposits & Payments:

  • A valid credit card must be retained for authorization at time of booking. No deposit is charged.

  • If a reservation is cancelled less than 14 days in advance, this card will be charged a cancellation fee.​

Children:

  • Children 10 years and older are welcome. We have smaller bedrooms to accommodate them.

  • Younger children may be welcome with prior approval. Contact us directly to discuss at (360) 670-9122.

Information Collection

  • Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at Dungeness Barn House. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. Dungeness Barn House does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

  • We sometimes use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A "cookie" is a small file that gets placed on your hard drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose.

  • At Dungeness Barn House, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation, we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.

  • Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

  • Dungeness Barn House may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
